Information We Collect

We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with the BuySurfPix.com website. BuySurfPix.com and its authorized agents automatically receive and record certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, actions performed on the website, and the page you requested. We use this traffic data in aggregate to help understand user behaviour and improve the website, as well as diagnose problems or issues with the website or servers.

We receive and store any information you enter on our website, with the exception of credit card payment information. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of some features offered through the site.

Registration: In order for you to sell on BuySurfPix.com, you must complete a registration form. As part of this registration form, we require select personal information. We enable you to provide additional information in your photographer profiles which ay be displayed publicly. This additional information is optional and is not required. We do not share your email or contact information without your explicit consent.

Email and Communications

BuySurfPix.com will never provide your email address to a third party without your explicit permission, as detailed below. We may send out e-mails with BuySurfPix.com-related news, products, offers, surveys or promotions. You may also receive notification e-mails from BuySurfPix.com, which inform you of actions (e.g. purchases, sales, etc.) that have been performed on the site. We also send out system e-mails such as updates to our policies, registration confirmation emails, and pasword-reset emails.

Encryption

Areas of BuySurfPix.com that collect personal information use industry standard secure socket layer encryption (SSL); however, to take advantage of this your browser must support encryption protection.

Financial Information

We do not currently collect financial information, such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information); that information is collected and stored by our third party payment processing company, Stripe Inc., and use and storage of that information is governed by the by the applicable terms of service and privacy privacy. This information can be found at https://stripe.com/ca/terms. BuySurfPix.com never sees or processes any of your financial information, and this information never comes in contact with our servers. We receive only a one-time use "Token ID" provided to use by Stripe Inc. when performing a transaction.

Cookies

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your hard drive through your Web browser. We use cookies to identify your shopping cart in our shopping cart database, to know which items you have added to your cart. Your shopping cart items are not stored on your computer, and these cookies store no personal information.

Access to Your Information

Rest assured that we neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone, and that we will share your personal information only as described below with your explicit permission.

BuySurfPix.com personnel and authorized consultants and/or contractors may have access to user information if necessary in the normal course of BuySurfPix.com business.

Information collected during photogrpaher registration and subsequent visits, such as your full name and location, may be displayed to other BuySurfPix.com users, if you choose to provide this information. Your email address or other contact information will never be displayed to any other BuySurfPix.com users without your explicit consent.

Your BuySurfPix.com account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. Protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by logging off once you have finished using a shared computer.

Only employees who need personal information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to your account for the duration of performing the specific job.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

BuySurfPix.com may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, at its sole discretion. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used.
