Fee Schedule

80% Photographer Commission

As a photographer/contributor, you may set your own price to charge for photos, or distribute photos for free. You will receive 80% of the selling price of your photos. Prices must be set in $1 USD increments.

Minimum Payout - $20 USD

We process payments on a monthly basis. A minimum account balance of $20 USD is required to process the payment. If your total unpaid earnings at the end of a month are less than the minimum payout amount of $20 USD, your earnings will remain in your account until your account balance reaches the minimum $20 threshold, at which point you will be paid on the regularly scheduled payment date for the month in which your account balance reaches the minimum payout amount.

Payouts by Paypal or Cheque - $10 fee for cheques

You may choose to receive your payments by Paypal or Cheque. This can be selected on your Photographer Dashboard under Payment Settings. If you have not set up a payment remittance method, we will attempt to contact you once your account balance meets the minimum payout amount. We will hold your earnings for a period of up to 12 months if are unable to get in touch.

Payment Schedule

Payments will be remitted within the first 14 days at the end of the month in which your Account Balance reaches the minimum payout amount. Example:

• Example 1: Your Account Balance at the end of January 2015 is $46. You will be issued a payment for $46 within the first 2 weeks (14 days) of February 2015
• Example 2: Your Account Balance at the end of January 2015 is $16. Your earnings for February 2015 are $12. Your account balance at the end of February 2015 is $28. You will be issued a payment for $28 within the first 2 weeks (14 days) of March 2015.

Photographer Payment Remittance

On a monthly basis, BuySurfPix.com shall remit to Contributor Eighty Percent (80%) of Net License Fees received from the licensing of Contributor's Uploaded Images. Payment shall be made in U.S. Dollars. BuySurfPix.com will use commercially reasonable efforts to pay Contributor no later than fourteen (14) days following the end of the reporting month in which your account has accrued a minimum of US$ 20.00. Contributor may elect to receive payments through an online payment processor (Paypal) or by cheque. If you choose payment by cheque BuySurfPix.com will deduct a processing fee of $10 USD from the amount owing to you. BuySurfPix.com's payment to such processor shall fulfill its obligation to make payments to Contributor.

BuySurfPix.com shall provide the Contributor a statement of Net License Fees on the Contributor Account Page. Contributor is solely responsible for maintaining updated contact information with BuySurfPix.com. In the event BuySurfPix.com is unable to contact Contributor or remit Net License Fees to Contributor for a period of [12] months, BuySurfPix.com may, in its sole discretion, terminate the Agreement.

In the event that a refund of a payment received or accrued from a third party is required, BuySurfPix.com is specifically authorized to deduct the Contributor’s share of this overpayment from any subsequent amount due the Contributor.
